You can still submit questions, but these won't be answered in the Q&A. Instead a member of our team will get in touch with an answer.

Octopus Future Generations VCT is now open to fundraise, sign up to this webinar to hear from the lead fund manager, Simon King.

What will be covered:

  • An overview of Octopus Future Generations VCT and the team behind it.
  • A reminder of the investment approach and three sustainability themes.
  • The economic backdrop, how it’s impacting venture capital, and how VCTs could enhance an investment portfolio.
  • An update on Future Generations VCT, including the growing portfolio and fund performance.
  • The outlook for 2024.

Octopus Future Generations VCT is a young VCT that invests in businesses that are helping to build a sustainable planet, empower people, or revitalise healthcare. Managed by one of the largest venture capital teams in Europe1, it currently has a portfolio of 25 early-stage companies operating in a diverse range of sectors.

Key risks to bear in mind:

  • The value of a VCT investment and any income from it, can fall as well as rise. Investors may not get back the full amount they invest.
  • Tax treatment depends on individual circumstances and may change in the future.
  • Tax reliefs depend on the VCT maintaining its VCT-qualifying status.
  • VCT shares could fall or rise in value more than other shares listed on the main market of the London Stock Exchange. They may also be harder to sell.
